Acceptable Use Policy

This policy is part of the Terms of Service. It applies to everyone who uses EzyCrm, including teammates you invite. If you break it, we may remove content or suspend access as described below.

Contacts and personal information

• Only add people to EzyCrm when you have a lawful reason to, such as an existing business relationship, a request from them, or their consent where the law requires it.
• Don't upload lists of personal information you bought, scraped or otherwise collected without a lawful basis.
• Don't store sensitive information you don't need, such as health records, government ID numbers, payment card numbers or passwords, in notes, fields or files.
• Respect requests from people to access, correct or delete their information, and to stop contacting them.

Email, messages and anti-spam laws

• Follow Canada's Anti-Spam Legislation (CASL), the US CAN-SPAM Act and other anti-spam laws when you contact people, including from email templates and logged emails.
• Send commercial electronic messages only with the consent the law requires, identify yourself and your business, and include a working way to unsubscribe.
• Don't use EzyCrm to send bulk unsolicited messages, or to harvest or validate email addresses.

Content

Don't upload or store content that is illegal, defamatory, harassing, discriminatory, sexually exploitative, or that infringes someone else's intellectual property or privacy. Don't upload malware or files designed to harm devices or systems.

Security and fair use

• Don't try to access another workspace, account or data you aren't allowed to see.
• Don't probe, scan or test the service's security without our written permission. If you find a security problem, tell us at scanified@gmail.com.
• Don't overload the service, scrape it with automated tools, or get around rate limits, storage limits or other restrictions.
• Don't share your login or let people outside your organization use your account.

AI assistant

If your workspace has the AI assistant, don't use it to create content that breaks this policy or the law, and don't try to make it reveal other workspaces' data or bypass its safeguards. Check its answers before you rely on or send them.

What happens if this policy is broken

We may remove content, disable a feature, or suspend or close an account or workspace, depending on how serious the problem is. Where reasonable we will tell you first and give you a chance to fix it. We may report illegal activity to the authorities.

If you think someone is misusing EzyCrm, including sending you spam from it, email scanified@gmail.com.
